Transfer to Mae Hong Son 1095

Route 1095 to Mae Hong Son is a minor highway transfer via Pai, and it takes about 6 hours. Although it is the shortest and most direct route up the mountain, there are numerous twists and turns. Even so, it is still popular.

Travel overview

Morning: Depart from Chiang Mai to Pai for 3 hours with the most curves. You might be able to visit some interesting attractions that have been arranged for you.

Enjoy a self-catered lunch and a stroll through Pai’s downtown area when you reach the halfway point. Or try a taste of the royal Thai cuisine at Baan Benjarong Restaurant, where we recommend it.

Afternoon: Another 3 hours From Pai to Mae Hong Son, and we estimate to drop you off around 4 p.m.

I made a stop at one more place to visit. It will shorten the distance and save time when visiting the remote zone from Mae Hong Son that you are passing through.

ENROUTE ATTRACTIONS

In the morning section, we take the same route Transfer to Pai. Normally, we choose Pong Duet Geyser and another one is Lod Cave in the afternoon section.

The Fish Cave is a walk to feed the fish. You did not enter the cave because it is a big hole underground. Just relax and take a walk if you are tired from sitting and want to stretch your knees.

For example,

The morning will be spent at Pong Duet Geyser, and the afternoon will be spent at Lod Cave. So we can control the timetable and drop you off at the hotel in town at around 5 pm.

We will spend almost 2 hours in Lod Cave. And finally, we will enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and cliffs.

There are also two other routes for you to choose from: Transfer to Mae Hong Son 108 and transfer to Mae Hong Son via Mae Chaem.
