Mae Sariang [mae-sa-riang] is a small, undeveloped district town on a scenic riverbank surrounded by forested hills and paddy rice field valleys. The town still possesses plenty of old teak buildings in the Shan style.
We will take the same route as Transfer to Mae Hong Son 108 in the first section. It takes almost 4:30 hours from Chiang Mai.
A chance to see the natural beauty of an amazing landscape shaped by a curvy river and limestone mountain ranges, as well as a fantastic view of all the pine trees.
Ob Luang National Park and Bo Kaeo Pine Tree Garden are two places along this route where we frequently stop.
