Chiang Rai is Thailand’s northernmost province, and the region is home to some beautiful mountain scenery. This trip is ideal for those who want to travel between cities while also seeing some sights. It takes about 3 hours and the distance is 180 kilometers from Chiang Mai.
This route is quite crowded, and the traffic looks similar to the Chiang Mai-Lampang route, but it is a little less so. Most of them are tourists traveling across the province. Chiang Rai appears to have a diverse range of attractions.
We will travel on Highway No. 118, which is constantly under construction and maintained (all year). Via Mae Kha Chan Hot Spring and almost to the city’s White Temple [Wat Rong Khun] on the left. We also stop there if it’s on your plan.
In addition, Suan Cha Rin Bakery & Garden Resort is where I always stop by for all the group. A nice spot for a cup of coffee and a variety of cakes and pies. It is located about 30 minutes before White Temple.
We often work regularly. Whether it’s a trip to the Golden Triangle, a day trip, or a two- or three-day tour in Chiang Rai. You may also add places on the roadside for resting.
