Pai’s best-selling and still-popular classic tour has been around for a long time. The duration of three days is ideal for a weekend family.

Spend some time here to relax and enjoy the aromas of the mountains, as well as the long, winding road to Pai. Pai’s travel style is “Eat, Read, Sleep”. Enjoy your day and do nothing at Pai.

Overview

A 3-day visit to a popular destination is a common master plan. And there’s a good reason to go on a variety of optional trips. This trip has been extended from the previously published 2-day Pai itinerary to include an additional night of enjoyment here.

A Sample Journal

Day 1: Chiang Mai – Pai

Leave Chiang Mai and make plans to visit the attractions along Highway 1095, stopping for lunch or coffee along the way. Continue to Pai, where you may be able to see more attractions before arriving at your hotel. Check-in and then you’re free to do as you, please. After that, find a restaurant along the walking street and enjoy the nightlife.

Day 3: Return to Chiang Mai

Check out and leave the hotel. If we don’t get around to seeing them on the first day we come here, we can add them to our list of places to see. Mineral bathing, for example. Alternatively, we could plan to eat lunch at a restaurant which we will be missing because we will be returning the same way. Arrive in Chiang Mai around 4 p.m. and be dropped off at your destination.
