The unique temple is one of Lampang’s precious secrets is unknown to many locals and the wide public just recently began to discover it. The beautiful landscape will be waiting for you.

Located in Lampang province take about 3 hours from Chiang Mai. An hour’s drive from Lampang to the 1st level parking zone. The 2nd level is 3.5 kilometers up the mountain and can be accessed by pickup truck.

Leading to the final level of the temple complex are 800 extremely steep steps that bring you to the most magnificent mountain top in Thailand. 3 level step maybe a little difficult to get to, but more than worth the journey.

EXAMPLE ITINERARY

Morning:
Pick you up at the hotel in the morning. Take a short brake along the way and will be arrive Wat Phra Bat Putthawat around 10 o’clock. Visit the temple about 2 – 3 hours and then come down for lunch at Chef Pree Cha restaurant. Free time and relax or have a cup of coffee.

Afternoon:
